Alicia Keys and Coldplay collaborated on stage at a festival this week, with the R&B singer playing piano on their song ‘Clocks’. Before Keys joined the group at their Summer Sonic Festival performance in Japan, frontman Chris Martin described her as “the most beautiful woman in the world…except for my wife [actress Gwyneth Paltrow]”. Also earlier in the set, Martin hinted of the collaboration when he changed lyrics of their track ‘Politik’ to “60,000 Japanese people watching us / Let Alicia Keys always play with us”.
